10 / 2 year warranty
All Clarke Welders are covered by a generous 10 / 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. The Transformer and Rectifier (a welder’s two main components) are warranted for a full TEN YEARS. All other components are covered for TWO YEARS. Clarke has Factory Authorized Warranty centers across the nation as well as a full inventory of parts & service available at the U.S. Headquarters, in Ohio.
You can also call (toll free) and speak to a Welder Tech who will diagnose almost any problem over the phone and even send you the repair part directly. No other welder brand that we know of is as helpful and responsive when it comes to helping customers with parts & service!
Our Mig welders from Clarke Power Products use a special flux-cored wire, which produces its own gas shroud as it burns, allowing you to weld carbon steel without an external gas source.
Or, you can weld aluminum, stainless steel and cast iron with these models by using the appropriate bottled gas and wire, called Gas/No Gas Welders. Some models require an additional conversion kit for welding with Gas. We also offer Gas Only & No Gas Only Mig Welders as well as Arc Welders and Plasma Cutters.
Duty Cycle Rating
Every Clarke Arc and Mig Welder has a Duty Cycle of 30% at 85% of the unit’s maximum output rating. They are tested at 72° F and 50% relative humidity. Some other brands may also advertise a 30% duty cycle rating but test their units at a much lower power output … or they may test them at 60° and at lower humidity levels which “inflates” the duty cycle percentage. Duty-Cycle ratings are often intentionally unpublished or misrepresented! Clarke welders are "built to last" and offer the Industry's very best warranty.
As you shop around for a welder if you do not see the duty cycle rating, ask for it!
